Typical Weight Loss Expectation

For the first month your body will feel subtle changes in what you are not craving as much, such as sugar. You will be given starting doses to get your body in the mode to change. You may not be seeing weight loss in the first 2 weeks but it should start around Week 3 as things begin to shift in cravings and awareness to signals to eat less and/or slower. Our doctor will be reviewing your notes before your 2nd doctor visit.

Once the weight loss starts typically you can expect to see approximately 1-2 pounds reduction every week.

Our dosing includes B12 and glycine boosts. Glycine will help with sustaining muscle mass. We will also provide you guides on grams and what type of collegians and aminos that can increase muscle mass, human growth hormone production (anti-aging bonus) and improve skin elasticity.

Are there natural products to increase GLP1 production?

Yes. Berberine, green tea, curcumin, cinnamon, soybean, resveratrol, and gardenia, can exert an influence on GLP-1 release. You can use these but you are not required to.

Our dosing of Semaglutide or Tirazepatide and WHY.

While other doctors and clinics push fast dramatic weight loss to excite people, we feel that is not in the best interest of the patient. Reasons:

The user relies on the higher dose versus allowing a protocol of lower dosing to teach and reset better habits.

  • GLP1s are showing promise to help conquer certain addictive behaviors but it requires listening to the body. Wild drops in weight can confuse the body. Slow and steady loss of weight can allow the body to communicate with the brain and you too, more effectively.

  • Higher doses can lead to constipation, nausea, diarrhea, dehydration, and muscle loss.

  • Higher doses make the body calibrate for higher doses which can lead to needing them again once a goal is reached.

  • Dramatic fast weight loss does not allow the skin to rebound with its support suddenly gone; leading to excess skin at the end that can require surgical removal to avoid its irritating effects.

  • A French study from 2006-2018 involving GLP1 treatments from 1-3 years in duration and with doses 3 to 30X the dosing of what you will be prescribed showed increased risk of thyroid cancer.

GLP1’s, what are they and how do they work.

Our doctors will either be prescribing Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, whichever is more correct for your situation.

When you hear Ozempic and Wegovy, these are the brand names of the approved compounded form Semaglutide. When you hear Zepbound and Mounjourno, these are the brand names of the compounded form of Tirzepatide.

When medication is formulated by a compounding pharmacy, the essential ingredients are used and the fillers are NOT added because they are not being made to have a couple of years shelf life like drugs shipped around the world unrefrigerated.   For instance, if you look up “Ozempic ingredients”, it is semaglutide AND: disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol.  If you look each of those up, they are preservatives, skin deadeners, or blending agents.  Propylene glycol is what makes antifreeze and phenol is caustic; it literally kills the nerves, so you won’t feel the pinch of an injection. Compounding is a way to just receive what you need and don’t want.   Our compounding pharmacy is here in Arizona, not outside of the country.   It is regulated by the Arizona Board of Pharmacology.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are GLP1’s, or Glucagon-like peptides. These peptides slow the stomach emptying and reduce the production of ghrelin, a hormone that creates hunger.
